① Planning and execution of business plans
Formulate, implement, and manage sales plans.
Conduct sales activities considering volume, revenue, and profit.
Manage sales activities across GT and MT.
Operate the business in collaboration with MD.
② Business expansion
Open new accounts (new distribution).
Formulate and execute work plans based on planning and processes.
Plan monthly measures based not only on a single month but on an annual plan.
Maintain and expand the volume and sales amount of existing accounts.
Maintaining and expanding profit
Balance volume and profit.
Create and verify price / profit breakdowns.
Plan and implement appropriate discounts and promotions.
③ Visualization and systematization of work
Use standard formats and systematize the work.
Track daily sales progress.
Manage PSI by distributor.
Update sell-out history monthly and use it in planning.
Estimate profit using standard price / profit breakdown formats.
Monitor in-store turnover after new distribution, identify issues, and implement measures.
Other Duties / Special Notes
Build a work structure including business partners and an internal organization, and educate subordinates.
Recruit, educate, and train sales staff, and establish sales management methods.
Promote growth based on an understanding of subordinates’ strengths and weaknesses.
Build, maintain, and strengthen a collaborative structure with business partners (distributors, dealers, etc.).
Build relationships that provide access not only to buyer contacts but to the entire partner organization.
10+ years of B2B sales experience.
5+ years of team management experience in the FMCG industry.
Work experience at the GM or Director level of Sales Dept.
Language: English business level
Education: University degree (4-year) or higher
Work experience at a consumer goods manufacturer.
Work experience at a competitor.
Knowledge of not only sales but also EC, brand marketing, and logistics.
Japanese language ability.
Estimated Monthly Salary (Gross): 6,000–8,000 USD
Estimated Annual Salary: 78,000–104,000 USD
Method of Determining Salary: Determined taking experience and skills into account
Personnel Evaluation: Assessed once a year (raises / promotions)
Bonus: Once a year
Holidays: Full two-day weekend (Sat & Sun)
